Lynn Power
Lynn Power is a former advertising executive turned entrepreneur with a passion for building brands and driving innovation. After spending 30 years in the advertising industry—starting as a receptionist and ultimately becoming CEO of J. Walter Thompson New York—Lynn realized she was ready for a new challenge. Feeling unfulfilled by the corporate world, she left advertising in 2018 to launch a brand consulting business focused on early-stage companies.
That same year, Lynn met James Hammett, a haircare expert with a decade of experience developing clean, high-performing formulations. Inspired by his work, they teamed up to create MASAMI, a premium, sustainable haircare brand. After 18 months of development, MASAMI officially launched at New York Fashion Week in February 2020.
Despite the unexpected challenges of launching during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lynn and her team quickly adapted, shifting focus to direct-to-consumer sales and content creation. Today, she continues to champion clean beauty, sustainability, and entrepreneurship while helping other businesses grow through strategic consulting.
